Water Safety Ireland is proud to introduce the Library Resource Kit, a new initiative designed to bring practical, lifesaving water safety education directly into local communities in collaboration with and supported by local libraries. These kits make essential rescue skills accessible to schools, youth groups, and families, empowering people of all ages with the knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency.
Available to borrow through participating libraries, these kits are offered on a 10-day loan period – all you need is a library card.

Where to find the kits?

The first phase of the programme is now live across libraries in Clare, Galway, Mayo, Dublin, Limerick and Cavan where kits can be borrowed just like a book.
If not already a library member, you will need to register, membership is free, but you will need to bring photo ID and proof of address to join.
